Diclofenac Sodium IP Injection: Diclofenac is one of a class of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that are used to treat pain and inflammation caused by migraine, muscle pain, toothache, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, gout, strain, and sprain. Pain is a distressing feeling and emotional experience that occurs upon tissue damage.

Diclofenac has Diclofenac in it, which acts by inhibiting the action of an enzyme, cyclo-oxygenase (COX), responsible for the formation of prostaglandins, causing the perception of pain and inflammation. Thus, Diclofenac relieves pain and inflammation.

The majority of these side effects do not need medical treatment and will pass with time. In case the side effects persist, consult your physician.
