Meropenem +Tazobactum Injection
Tazobactam + meropenem is a class of medicine known as antibiotics that is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections. Bacterial infection refers to a condition where toxic bacteria invade, grow, and infect the body. It is characterized by fever, chills, and tiredness.
Tazobactam + meropenem consists of Meropenem and Tazobactam. Meropenem inhibits the formation of bacterial cell walls, which is essential for their growth. Tazobactam inhibits the breakdown of Meropenem by inhibiting the beta-lactamase enzyme secreted by bacteria. Both Tazobactam+meropenem assist in treating bacterial infections.

Directions to use:
- Do not give yourself.
- Pinch the skin firmly between your thumb and index finger and quickly.
- Put the needle straight into the muscle.
- Draw back the plunger; if blood appears in the syringe, withdraw the needle from the skin.
- Replace the needle with a new one of the same caliber.
- You may use the drug that is already in the syringe.
- Administer the drug slowly.
Dosage:
Administer this injection in the appropriate dose as directed by your physician. Do not administer the higher mg of this drug.
Storage:
- Place this drug in a dry and cool environment.
- Do not put this infusion under the sun.
- Keep this infusion away from children and animals.
Side Effects:

Precautions:
- You have been prescribed Tazobactam + meropenem Injection to cure different bacterial infections.
- Diarrhea can be a side effect, but it will cease once your course is over. Let your doctor know if it does not cease or if you notice blood in your stools.
- Stick to plain foods, do not eat rich or spicy food, and drink plenty of water when taking this medicine.
- Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after the administration of Tazobactam + meropenem Injection.
- This medicine may make the oral typhoid vaccine less effective. If you are about to have any vaccinations, ensure that the person who is treating you is aware that you are taking this antibiotic.
- If you are undergoing surgery, including dental surgery, inform the surgeon or dentist that you are taking Tazobactam + meropenem Injection.
